Week 1: 165 lbs 12 oz
Week 2: 165 lbs 2 oz
Week 3: 164 lbs 10oz
I cannot tell you how happy I am to have lost one pound. I feel like finally I’m on the right track. Do you know what else is exciting? I’ve finally lost weight from my initial weigh in. Su-weet!
I still need to get my butt in gear when it comes to working out. I don’t do it often enough, but here’s the thing: as a Mom, some days I am just too exhausted to work out. And do you know what? That is going to be okay with me. I’ll just keep at it when I can.
Here is the question though: I have been thinking about starting Weight Watchers. I have three options available for me:
- Option 1: Cheat. Do the entire thing for free with the help of online calculators and my sister‘s knowledge. Upside: Free. Downside: No accountability, no resources.
- Option 2: Weight Watchers Online. This is the cheaper way to go about it. Upside: Cheaper. No meetings (I’m a little nervous about the meetings), Online tools. Downside: No meetings (I know, but it is an accountability issue, right?), No physical resources
- Option 3: The full Monty: Weight Watchers meetings. Upside: Accountability, every resource and tool I need. Downside: The cost, and the fear of going to that awkward meeting.
Any suggestions? What should I do?
Speaking about weigh-ins, I decided to weigh Cameron on Thursday (when he was 16 weeks, 5 days old). My three and a half month old baby officially (according to the Wii) weighs 16 lbs 15 oz which means that he has doubled in size since being born (at 8lbs 7oz)! Congrats Baby!
I continue to do my weekly Stroller Fit workout class and I am really enjoying it. This past week kicked my butt though! It was intense. Despite the level of insanity, I did manage to catch a photo of my son in his stroller watching Momma (or rather not watching Momma) jump like a lunatic. I do like the idea of being active with my kids so that being active is just a regular normal thing in their lives. Stroller Fit has been great for this.
