We’re currently in the middle of Apocalypse Daycare which has brought with it high temperatures, runny noses, coughs, serious baby malaise, and lots of sleepy snuggles. (Can someone please remind me why daycare is so awesome?).
While all of this has been going on, my maternity leave ended and I went back to work. I am writing this after having completed my first full week back at work. And despite feeling like the world was ending (see Apocalypse Daycare above), it actually went fairly well. Even though Cameron experience his first “sick day”, I still went to work, leaving Daddy to do the stay-at-home thing for a day.
Last week, my iPhoneography showed a unique perspective of my first week sending Cameron to daycare. This week, as I looked through my photo gallery, I realized that every picture chronicled my first week back to work. There was the obvious this is me at work (with an orange face?!?) picture.
But after my first day, I realized how boring my cubicle was, so I started photographing the things I saw on my commute to and from work.

On the bus:

I especially love that last one. Very pretty!
I hope your little one is feeling better. Yay for dads who stay with the kids on sick days. That is fabulous.

Thanks Tracie! That's my favourite too!
It was nice to have my husband stay home with my sick baby. Although I was sick too, it probably ended up being an easier day at work.
